Energy Independence

Fully established project

Companies involved ensure the availability of all required competences from research, via conception and realization up to fleet operation. Energy harvesters - on duty in real offshore regions at high seas - generate our own energy (electricity via wind, sun, and waves and cleaned water from sea and/or sky) in an integrated and autonomous grid.

Renewables solve the feedstock problem of onshore and nearshore initiatives and enable sustainability by producing hydrogen based on this method is not harming the environment.

The high seas & autonomous operations

Energy production off the beaten track

... we are developing a complete system that can operate autonomously in national and international waters. A basic fleet consists of up to 100 energy harvesters, which are unloaded and serviced weekly. The operating radius of the fleet is 100 - 1000 km to the nearest transfer stations.

An energy harvester generates energy from wind, sun, and wave, desalinates and cleans sea and rainwater and generates and compresses hydrogen in a contained unit. The Eenergy Independence Harvesters are sea born vessels and a novelty in shipbuilding, as the focus is not on speed, but on stability and durability, based on autonomous operation utilizing only renewable energy.
